Where do the statuses come from?
Every 5 minutes, a server in Moscow opens the addresses of each service: the main page, and where necessary, image or video files. If an address doesn't respond, responds with an error, or is too slow, the status changes. The second part of the data comes from visitor reports: complaints and checks from their own devices, broken down by provider.
Why isn't it working for me, but it says 'Working' here?
Our checks are performed from a data centre network in Moscow. The situation may differ for your provider, in your region, or with a specific application. Click 'Check all from my device' — your browser will open the services from your network, and it will immediately become clear where the problem lies.
What does 'Access restricted in Russia' mean?
The service is working, but by decision of the telecom regulator or according to news reports, it opens with interruptions or not at all for Russian providers. When such information is available, we state on the service page from what date and what exactly is restricted.
How quickly does an outage appear here?
The status from checks is updated every 5 minutes. A spike in reports is visible even earlier: if there are significantly more reports than usual within an hour, the service appears in the 'Currently experiencing problems' section, even if our check from Moscow passes.
